Welcome to the world of Judith Arts. Born and raised in Deurne, Brabant, I grew up in an artistic family where creativity was always in the air. As a child, I discovered the beauty of characters and lines through calligraphy, and over the years, that passion for design has organically evolved into a love for painting.

Creating art is the perfect counterpoint to my day job; I combine painting with my work as a controller at a construction company. While my days are filled with numbers, structures, and precision, my studio offers me the ultimate freedom to play with colour and texture.

Nature is my greatest source of inspiration. The tranquillity and raw beauty of the De Peel nature reserve, impressive nature documentaries, and the work of various masters from the refined floral still lifes of Rachel Ruysch to the techniques of David Jansen fuel my creativity. I love experimenting with different styles and techniques, and my canvases often bring the splendour of flowers, nature, and animals to life.
